How I came to concrete and why the base matters
I spent my first career behind a desk and came to concrete later than most. I learned the trade on other people's crews, and in 2023 I started Crestline Agoura Hills Concrete as a concrete contractor in Agoura Hills. I still answer the phone, and when we pour, I'm the one out there with a screed, the long straightedge that levels the wet concrete.
Those years on other crews taught me that the parts you can't see decide how long a slab lasts. The subgrade, the packed ground it sits on, the way water runs off it and the cure are all buried or done before you ever see the finish, so I'd rather wait a day or tell you no than pour something I don't trust. That's why we're best known for driveways, patios and the prep under them, and why most of our calls come from homeowners who want someone who shows up. You can see more of what we build on our home page.
What working with us looks like
These are the things you'll notice when we take your job, from the first walk-around to the pour, and the reason we do each one the way we do.
The person who prices it is there for the pour
I come out to look at every job and write the estimate, then work on site with our crew through the build. What you were told standing in your driveway is what gets poured, because nobody's passing notes between a salesman and a crew.
An estimate you can compare line by line
Your written estimate lays out the prep, the steel and the finish item by item, and the steel is rebar, the bars that hold a slab together if it cracks. The base is the first thing a cheaper bid trims because it's buried on day one, so hold ours up next to any other and see what each one includes.
A straight answer, even when it's no
If what you want won't hold up, or the cheaper option will crack like the old slab did, I'll tell you plainly. Sometimes the honest answer is that we're not the right crew for the job, and you'll hear that too.
A licensed crew on your property
California's Contractors State License Board requires a license when a job needs a building permit, uses hired workers or totals $1,000 or more in labor and materials, so ask anyone you're considering whether they hold one. We're licensed and fully insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee.
How a concrete job runs with us
Here's how a job goes, from your first call to the day you can walk on your new driveway, patio or slab again.
Call or send us a message
Call (747) 219-1796 or use our contact form and tell us what's going on, whether it's a cracked driveway, a sinking patio or a new slab. We reply to every call and message within one business day.
I come out and look
I come to your property at no cost and look at the slab, the ground around it and where the water runs. Some things, like what's under an old driveway, nobody knows until it's torn out, and I'll say so.
Get your written estimate
Your estimate is free, in writing and comes with no pressure to book. Price mostly turns on the slab's size, how much base work the ground needs and the finish, and if your job needs a permit, I'll tell you then.
We prep, pour and cure
We check with the building office for your address and apply for any permit before work begins. Then we dig out and pack the base, pour, cut control joints, grooves that steer cracks onto lines we chose, and let it cure before you use it.
Cities we work in around Agoura Hills

Those are two of the 12 cities with their own page here, and they aren't the only ones we work in, so if you're nearby and don't see yours, call and ask.
